Onsite Installers, Fabricators, Trade Assistants

OIC Engineering is a proudly Queensland-owned metalwork company that has been delivering quality projects throughout South East Queensland for over 10 years.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking motivated and reliable team members to join our team based at Yatala.

We specialise in the fabrication and installation of:

• Balustrades

• Handrails

• Architectural screens

• Fencing and gates

• Bollards and barriers

• Aluminium and mild steel metalwork

• Light structural and custom fabricated components

• Commercial, industrial and government projects

The Roles:

Site Installer

Key responsibilities include:

• Installation of balustrades, handrails, screens, fencing and gates

• Working from drawings and site instructions

• Use of hand and power tools

• Site measuring and problem solving

• Working safely on construction sites

• Delivering high-quality workmanship

Fabricator / Welder

Key responsibilities include:

• Fabrication of aluminium and mild steel products

• MIG and TIG welding

• Cutting, drilling, grinding and assembly

• Reading workshop drawings

• Maintaining quality standards and production schedules

Trades Assistant / Factory Labourer

Key responsibilities include:

• Cutting, drilling and processing components

• Assisting fabricators and installers

• Loading and unloading materials

• General workshop duties

• Preparing materials for fabrication and installation

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

About You

You will ideally have:

• A strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Reliability and punctuality

• Experience in fabrication, welding, metalwork or construction

• White Card (or willingness to obtain)

• Driver's licence

• Forklift licence (advantageous)

• Ability to work independently and within a team
