Commercial flooring estimator / project coordinator

Smiths Floorworld is a long-established and respected flooring business servicing residential and commercial clients across Melbourne.

We’re looking for a motivated and organised person to join our team in a varied role supporting quoting, project coordination, customer service and sales activities.

This position would suit someone with experience in flooring, construction, project coordination, estimating, retail sales or a related industry. Full training will be provided for the right person.

No two days are the same. Responsibilities will include:

·         Preparing quotations and estimates

·         Following up leads, quotations and customer enquiries

·         Assisting with project coordination and scheduling

·         Liaising with builders, clients, installers and suppliers

·         Assisting with ordering materials and general administration

·         Maintaining accurate records within our business systems

We’re looking for someone who:

·         Is organised and enjoys dealing with people

·         Has strong communication and customer service skills

·         Has good computer skills and can learn new systems quickly

·         Is proactive and enjoys solving problems

·         Can manage multiple tasks and deadlines

·         Has experience in flooring, estimating, project coordination, retail sales or a related industry (preferred but not essential)
