Full-Time Sales & Project Coordinator - Timber Flooring

With nearly 30 years of experience and the recent opening of our Somerton Park showroom, Adelaide Timber Flooring is expanding and looking for another motivated person to join our team.

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about growing the business. Someone who will make the most of sales opportunities, develop strong industry relationships and take an active interest in where the business is heading.

Timber flooring plays an important role in how a space looks and feels, helping bring the overall design together. Across our Norwood and Somerton Park showrooms, we offer a carefully selected collection of high quality flooring products.

This isn’t purely a showroom sales position. You’ll guide clients through their flooring selection, visit homes and building sites to complete measures, prepare quotations and coordinate projects through to completion.

The Role

You’ll be a key point of contact for clients, helping them make informed decisions while ensuring the details of their project are properly managed.

Your day-to-day will include:

·      Leading client conversations and guiding timber flooring selections

·      Understanding each client’s needs and recommending suitable products

·      Visiting homes and building sites to complete accurate onsite measures

·      Reading and interpreting architectural plans

·      Producing accurate and detailed quotations

·      Coordinating materials, contractors and installation schedules

·      Managing project communication by phone and email

·      Building relationships with homeowners, builders and designers

·      Maintaining a high standard across the showroom and overall client experience

·      Identifying opportunities to increase sales and grow the business

What You’ll Bring

Ideally, you’ll have experience across sales and project coordination within flooring, construction, interiors or a related industry.

We’re also open to a strong salesperson with building industry experience who is organised, confident with clients and interested in learning the technical and project coordination aspects of the role.

You will:

·      Communicate clearly and professionally

·      Build strong relationships with clients

·      Take responsibility and follow things through

·      Be organised and comfortable managing multiple tasks

·      Have strong attention to detail

·      Be commercially minded and motivated by results

·      Work effectively within established systems and processes

·      Be enthusiastic about developing opportunities and growing the business

·      Experience reading plans, measuring, quoting or coordinating trades will be highly regarded but training can be provided for the right person.

·      A current driver’s licence is required.
