People & Culture Business Partner

We are currently seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to join our team on a max-term 6 month contract. 

The Role  

Reporting to the Lead People & Culture Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing trusted HR advice and support to leaders and employees across the organisation, partnering with stakeholders to deliver people initiatives, support the employee lifecycle, and foster an inclusive and engaged workplace culture. 

Key Responsibilities  

• Partner with leaders to provide trusted, practical people advice across the employee lifecycle. 
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide guidance on workplace legislation, policies and employment matters. 
• Support recruitment, interview processes and leadership capability initiatives as required. 
• Partner with leaders to develop workforce plans that build organisational capability and support current and future business needs. 
• Support leadership capability by providing coaching, guidance and development solutions that strengthen individual and team performance. 
• Provide trusted employee and industrial relations advice, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, enterprise agreements and organisational policies. 
• Analyse and provide workforce metrics and insights to support informed people and business decisions. 
• Partner with leaders to plan and implement change initiatives that support organisational objectives. 
• Provide support and input into Employee Engagement surveys. 
• Support the implementation of WHS policies, procedures, and safety management activities.  

Desired Skills and Experience 

• Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and leadership development initiatives. 
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. 
• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). 

A little about you  

• Substantial experience providing strategic and operational HR support in complex, fast-paced environments 
• Proven ability to rapidly establish credibility and build trusted relationships effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation 
• Experience coaching and supporting to People Leaders on workforce management, performance and team development matters 
• Sound knowledge of employment legislation, employee relations practices, and contemporary people management practices
