Florance Group Position Details Position Title: Builder's Labourer Employer: Florance Group (Florance Property Solutions) Location: Darwin and surrounding areas, Northern Territory Employment Type: Full-Time Annual Salary: 65k - 75k ANZSCO Code: 821211 — Builder's Labourer   About the Role We are seeking a motivated and reliable Builder's Labourer to work alongside our experienced carpenter and property solutions team across a variety of residential and commercial maintenance, renovation, and fit-out projects throughout Darwin and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well on site, and understands that every job — regardless of size — reflects on the quality of our business.

  Key Duties and Responsibilities Assist the lead carpenter and trades team on residential and commercial renovation, maintenance, and fit-out projects Site preparation — clearing, cleaning, and preparing work areas before and after jobs Handling, moving, and organising materials and equipment on site Assisting with the carrying, positioning, and securing of building materials and fixtures Basic demolition and removal work as directed by the supervising tradesperson Loading and unloading of vehicles, delivery of materials to work areas Operating hand and power tools under the supervision and direction of qualified trades staff Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work site at all times Adhering to all Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and Florance site standards Communicating effectively with the supervising tradesperson and other team members Completing tasks as directed in a timely and professional manner Representing the Florance brand with professionalism on all client sites   Essential Requirements Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in outdoor and indoor environments, including Darwin's tropical climate Valid NT Driver's Licence (minimum C class) Ability to work effectively as part of a small team and follow direction from qualified trades staff Strong work ethic and reliability — punctuality and consistent attendance are essential Commitment to workplace health and safety standards Right to work in Australia (applicants must meet all relevant visa and work authorisation requirements) Working at heights clearance White Card (Construction Induction Training certificate) or willingness to obtain   Desirable (Not Essential) Prior experience in a labouring, construction, or trades assistant role Familiarity with tools and equipment used in building and construction Experience working in Darwin or regional NT environments   What Florance Offers A genuine team culture where you are valued as a person, not just a worker Consistent, full-time work across a range of interesting projects Supervision and mentorship from experienced trades professionals Competitive salary A business that holds itself to a high standard and expects the same from its people — and rewards it   How to Apply Applications are invited from all eligible candidates.
