Early Learning Administartion Officer - Reedy Creek Campus

We are seeking an experienced Administration to join our Early Learing Centre team at our Reedy Creek Campus.

Our ELC Administration Officer is responsible for providing high-quality administrative and reception support to ensure the efficient operation of King's Early Learning. As the first point of contact for families, visitors and children, this role plays a key part in creating a welcoming, professional and family-focused environment while supporting the Centre Director and Leadership Team with administrative, compliance and operational functions.

This is a Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome families, children, visitors and contractors in a warm and professional manner.
• Manage incoming telephone calls, emails and general enquiries.
• Coordinate centre tours and assist prospective families throughout the enrolment process.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Build positive relationships with families and support a welcoming centre culture.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Centre Director, educators and families
• Manage calendars, appointments, meetings and bookings.
• Support compliance reporting and documentation in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
• Assist the Director with fire, evacuation and emergency management documentation and procedures.
• Complete additional administrative tasks as directed to support the efficient operation of the service.
• Maintain accurate enrolment, attendance and child records.
• Ensure children's medical folders, emergency information and authorised nominee records remain current and compliant.
• Maintain accurate family and staff records within approved childcare management systems.
• Ensure all administrative documentation complies with privacy legislation and organisational policies.
• Support audit preparation and regulatory visits.
• Administer Child Care Subsidy (CCS) requirements, including enrolments, attendance, absences and family documentation.
• Assist families with CCS enquiries and provide accurate information regarding enrolment processes, fee processing and invoicing.
• Maintain current records within XAP, PRODA, CCSS as required.
• Support Kindergarten Funding administration, including eligibility documentation, reporting requirements and audit preparation.
• Ensure compliance with Commonwealth and Queensland Government funding requirements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all child, family and staff information.

Role Requirements:

• Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (or an equivalent administration qualification).
• Demonstrated experience in an administrative or reception role.
• Experience working within an Early Childhood Education and Care environment.
• Sound knowledge of Child Care Subsidy (CCS) processes and childcare administration.
• Demonstrated experience using childcare management software, (we are currently using XAP)
• Experience using PRODA, CCSS
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
• Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Geccko training will be required.
• Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (not essential).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications or willingness to obtain.

• A genuine passion for supporting children, families and staff.

King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) currently has over 1000 students on-site, offering places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
