Early Childhood Administrator

Join our vibrant Early Childhood Centre as an Early Childhood Administrator and become an integral part of a welcoming community dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for children, families and educators. Salary: $42.10 per hour, with the Wage Retention Payment payable in addition in accordance with applicable funding arrangements.

This on-site role at A.B. Paterson College operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

This is a pivotal role providing administrative, customer service and operational support to our Early Childhood Centre team. As the first point of contact for families and visitors, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the Centre while delivering exceptional service to our community.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide exceptional customer service and reception support to families, staff and visitors.
2. Manage enquiries, correspondence, telephone calls and day-to-day office administration.
3. Process family accounts, payments and related financial administration.
4. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
5. Support quality improvement initiatives and National Quality Standards requirements.
6. Maintain effective administrative systems and documentation

About You

You will thrive in this role if you are:

• Qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• A proactive self-starter who takes initiative.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• An effective communicator with a professional approach.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
• Experienced in a busy administrative environment, ideally within Early Childhood Education and Care

Essential Requirements

• Relevant Early Childhood qualification.
• Current Blue Card.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Understanding of Child Care Subsidy funding requirements and/or Early Childhood regulatory frameworks will be highly regarded.
• Experience with Xplor, KindyHub or similar childcare management systems is advantageous.

The Banjo and Friends Early Learning Centre (Pre-Prep) lays the foundation for growth, education, and care at A.B. Paterson College. Conveniently located on the ground floor of The Winton Centre, our exceptional facility boasts three fully equipped Pre-Prep classrooms. These rooms feature floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open to a creative playground, offering ample space for children to actively participate in meaningful learning experiences.

Collaboration with the College enables the children to participate in extracurricular activities including library experiences, physical education and music lessons with A.B. Paterson College teaching staff. We also run a successful outside school hours care program for Prep to year 6.
