Job Description

DM Civil is seeking experienced civil construction drainers to join our onsite crews.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installation of pipework of various size and type,
• Setting up pipe lasers and carrying out levels,
• Knowledge of inspection and testing procedures,
• Location of existing underground services,
• Directing and supporting plant operators.

Previous employment stability and a demonstrated understanding of technical and safety procedures are essential. You must also be willing to work across the greater metropolitan area.

A pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screen will be required

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 2 years experience in pipe laying,
• Hold current pipe laying/related accreditation or demonstrated experience as a drainer,
• Plant operating tickets are desirable,
• Working at heights and confined space are desirable,
• White card,
• Drivers licence.

Additional Information

We offer job security with full time, permanent positions.  Penalty rates are payable for all overtime worked. Annual average income range between $80,000 - $100,000.
