A permanent full time teaching opportunity is available, commencing in Term 1, 2027. For the right candidate, a part time arrangement may also be considered. 

Applications are invited from educators with a passion for teaching students with additional needs, who enjoy working collaboratively and who wish to be a part of a caring and innovative school community. Applicants must have demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and review effective individiualised education programs.

Experience working with students with a disability is desirable but not essential. Teachers who are interested in developing their general teaching and learning skills within a Special Education context are encouraged to apply.

Pacific Hope Christian School is a special school providing Christian Education for students with a mild to moderate level of intellectual delay or Autism in Year 1 to Year 12.  This co-educational Christian learning community is committed to developing and nurturing its students.  Pacific Hope Christian School is located in Tweed Heads on the far north coast of NSW and is part of the Pacific Group of nine Christian schools, with six of these schools located in regional NSW.   Pacific Hope Chrisitan School is located on the same site as Pacific Coast Christian School and has its own Principal but shares facilities.  Each student is unique, and we aim to develop the full potential in each individual by providing a mixture of individualised and small group instruction and support.  Pacific Hope Christian School has a clear vision to honour Christ in all its programs and practices.
