FUNCTIONS MANAGER

• Brand new hotel in Panorama

• Tuesday to Saturday roster

• Primarily office hours during the week

• One meal per rostered shift

• Free on-site car parking

Hotel Panorama is seeking a driven and highly capable Functions Manager to take ownership of our functions pipeline from initial enquiry through to event execution.

This person will be responsible for managing a high volume of enquiries, producing accurate function sheets and coordinating with kitchen and FOH teams to deliver high standard events.

This is a fast paced role for someone that loves being organised and can confidently juggle multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to a high volume of function enquiries via phone, email and in person

• Prepare accurate and timely function sheets and distribute them to relevant departments

• Create invoices, follow up payments and stay on top of outstanding debtors

• Oversee key functions on the day

• Be present to assist on key trading days such as Melbourne Cup, Mother's Day, Christmas Day

About You

• Proven experience in a hospitality management setting, ideally in functions or events

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent time management

• Advanced administration skills 

• Excellent customer service and follow-up abilities

• Proficiency in basic audio-visual equipment
