About the role:
Beecroft’s home away from home. Sitting across from the bowling greens, is the perfect spot to settle in for a long lunch, a cocktail or two or dinner with friends and family. We’re here to feed your soul, with an approachable menu that promises something for everyone, including family friendly dining.

We are looking for an energetic and motivated Cooks to join our team.

Joining The Verandah Beecroft means you are part of Norths Collective which includes Norths Cammeray, The Greens North Sydney, The Alcott Lane Cove and Seagulls Tweed Heads.

Your key priorities will be:

• Food preparation, cooking, presentation of food and stock control
• Contributing to a strong team focus
• Assume some responsibility in the kitchen including ordering, compliance and general cleanliness
• Hygiene and food safety of the highest level in accordance with food safety guidelines and club policies and procedures
• Maintain effective communication with all key stakeholders
• Actively driving and supporting a range of Work, Health and Safety Compliance activities

The Candidate:

• Experience in plating and presenting dishes in a restaurant style setting
• Understanding of safe food handling and HACCP
• Knowledge in food quality control
• Passion for creating dishes, recipes and assist with menu changes.
• Flexibility and available to work a 7 day, rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
• Understanding strict health and hygiene standards and Workplace Health & Safety legislation
