Perth Vet Emergency (PVE) Osborne Park  

At PVE Osborne Park, as part of the Animal Emergency Australia (AEA) network, you’ll collaborate with some of the most highly skilled ECC professionals in the industry, with a strong culture of mentorship and knowledge sharing. 

Renovation of our Osborne Park hospital is in its final stages, and we are looking forward to moving into our new space that has been purpose-built for our ECC team. 

About the Role  
  
Located onsite initially in Yokine before moving to our new Osborne Park in October 2026, we are seeking a Veterinary Team Manager to join PVE who will play a critical role in the leadership, performance, and development of our veterinary team within a fast-paced, 24/7 emergency environment.  

The Vet Team Manager plays a key critical role in the operational success of PVE Osborne Park. Reporting to the Hospital Director, you will lead people, operational and commercial initiatives that support exceptional patient care, client experience and hospital performance. 
  
Key responsibilities include: 

• Lead the performance, engagement, and development of the veterinary team  
• Drive a high-performance, values-led culture built on accountability and trust  
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to ensure capability and capacity  
• Lead and support team through coaching, development, feedback and performance conversations 
• Manage and embed change initiatives and continuous improvement activities  
• Ensure effective rostering, workforce sustainability, and operational coverage  
• Support financial performance through labour cost management, efficiency, and reporting insights  
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to optimise patient outcomes and service delivery  
• Strengthen collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams  
• Drive compliance with WHS, policies, and AEA standards 

About You

You will also bring:     

• Prior experience as a people leader   
• Knowledge and experience of vet services or other clinical services advantageous but not essential  
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to coach, motivate and support  
• Ability to thrive in providing exceptional client and patient experience  
• Expertise delivering multiple projects from concept to completion  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel

• Remuneration for this role is c. $120,000 to 130,000 base + super + 17.5% leave loading
