Interstate HC/MC Drivers – East Coast | Yatala Based

National Freight Services & Logistics is a proudly Australian-owned and operated transport company based in Queensland, servicing customers Australia-wide.

We are looking for experienced Interstate HC/MC Drivers to join our growing team, operating from our Yatala depot.

We operate a modern fleet across the East Coast, including late-model prime movers, semi-trailers, B-Doubles, flat tops and drop-deck ramp trailers.

The Role

As an Interstate Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Completing allocated interstate runs across the East Coast

• Working to scheduled departure and delivery times

• Safely operating company vehicles and trailers

• Completing required paperwork, checklists and electronic PODs

• Using electronic work diaries and company communication systems

• Tarping and securing loads as required

• Conducting vehicle and equipment checks

• Communicating professionally with customers, depots and management

• Working independently while maintaining regular communication with the operations team

• Maintaining a high standard of vehicle presentation and care

Yard assistance is provided where required for tarping and trailer preparation.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for drivers who are experienced, reliable and professional.

You will need:

• Current HC or MC licence

• Proven interstate driving experience

• Experience operating combinations relevant to the position

• BFM accreditation, or willingness to obtain

• Ability to pass company drug and alcohol testing

• Ability to work independently and meet scheduled departure and delivery times

• Good communication skills

• Ability to complete paperwork and electronic documentation accurately

• A professional attitude and strong work ethic

• Own reliable transport to and from our Yatala depot

• Smartphone capable of email, messaging and EWD use

• Current and relevant references included with your application

• Must reside within the Brisbane metropolitan area
