We're looking for a Host Inspector & Assistant Property Manager to join our Sydney team, a ground floor role for someone who wants to learn the property industry properly, from the inside.You'll be on the road daily across Sydney's eastern suburbs and North Sydney, inspecting properties, documenting what you find, and acting as the eyes and ears for our property management team on the ground.
What you'll be doing
Conducting property inspections to confirm every home is guest-ready before arrivalIdentifying, documenting, and reporting damage, wear, or maintenance issues with clear written notesCompleting full photo inventories and video walkthroughs at every visitManaging linen, keys, lockboxes, and essential supplies across multiple propertiesCompleting bond checks, condition reports, and routine inspectionsCoordinating in the field with cleaners and the property management teamGreeting guests on arrival and handling ad hoc requestsChecking fire safety standards and STRA compliance at each property
What we're looking for
Own reliable car (essential, this role is entirely on the road)Based within 5km of Sydney CBD, Bondi, or North SydneyAustralian resident with full working rightsFlexible across weekdays and weekends, with capacity to increase hours in peak seasonCritical thinker with genuine common sense and strong communication skillsSomeone who takes pride in the small things and their own presentationNo prior property experience required. Energy, reliability, and willingness to learn matter mostA NSW Real Estate Certificate of Registration is an advantage; if you don't hold one, you must be willing to obtain it before starting
