About the role
An opportunity is available for an Environmental Monitoring Technician to join our Quality Control team on a fixed-term maternity leave contract through to December 2027.
Key responsibilities:
Monitor sterile production cleanrooms during production and at rest
Enter data and analyse environmental monitoring trends
Collect water and steam samples
Perform cleaning validation sampling
Conduct gowning qualification for cleanroom staff
Conduct QC testing, including TOC and conductivity testing.
Skills and experience
Tertiary qualification in science or a related discipline
Flexibility to work the hours required for production environmental monitoring
Ability to work fully gowned in a sterile cleanroom for several hours at a time
Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel
Aseptic technique skills
Understanding of GMP and GLP requirements
Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management, attention to detail, motivation, and productivity.
