The Opportunity & Key Responsibilities

ZIMMERMANN is seeking a talented Digital Studio Assistant, Casual to join our Digital Studio team based in Rosebery, Sydney. This role will support product launches, ecommerce content delivery and key studio projects, helping to bring our collections to life across digital channels.

Working closely with the Digital Studio Team Lead and broader Digital, Ecommerce, Wholesale, Production and Design teams, you will assist across the full studio process, from pre-production and shoot support through to post-production, image quality control and online content updates.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong interest in photography, fashion, digital content and ecommerce, who enjoys working in a creative, fast-paced studio environment with a high level of attention to detail.

As our Casual Digital Studio Assistant your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pre-production activities, including sample loans and returns, garment preparation, steaming, studio organisation, lighting set-up and shoot preparation.Assisting in the studio with DSLR photography across model, mannequin and flat lay imagery, as well as supporting product video content where required. Supporting stylists and models during shoots, including dressing assistance and following styling direction set by the Digital Content Director. Assisting with post-production tasks including video editing, image retouching, deep etching, ghost mannequin retouching, resizing, compression and colour correction in line with brand standards. Checking image quality, scale, compression, file naming conventions and ensuring content is uploaded and feeding through to the website correctly. Supporting product enrichment, product categorisation and the delivery of imagery to retail teams ahead of product launches. Following up missing images or image issues and actioning updates as a priority to ensure product content is accurate and delivered on time. Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming studio environment that reflects ZIMMERMANN’s creative standards.

What You Will Bring

To succeed in this position, you will bring:
Strong image retouching and Adobe Photoshop skills. A strong interest in photography, fashion, digital content and ecommerce. A thorough understanding of photographic equipment in a studio environment. Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of visual accuracy. Strong communication and organisational skills. A proactive and positive approach, with the ability to work collaboratively within a creative team. Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent practical experience in photography, digital content, ecommerce, fashion or a related creative field.
