Experienced Security Service Technician / Installer

We are currently looking for a capable, self motivated Security Service Technician / Installer to join our team and assist with ongoing field operations.

About the role

This role features direct home to site dispatch across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, and the Gold Coast, alongside regional Queensland travel as required. You will install, test, and commission intruder alarms, CCTV, intercoms, and access control systems, carry out fault finding and system maintenance, work with primary industry brands, perform structured cabling and basic data networking tasks, and conduct site assessments and client handovers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission intruder alarms, CCTV, intercoms, and access control systems in line with Australian Standards

• Carry out fault finding, system maintenance, component replacements, and system takeovers (including third-party setups)

• Work with primary industry brands including Dahua, Uniview, Bosch (Solution 3000 & 6000), Aiphone, HiLook, and Inception

• Perform structured cabling and basic data networking tasks

• Conduct site assessments, liaise with residential and commercial clients, provide on site pricing quotes, and deliver clear system handovers

About you

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in electronic security installation and service

• Current QLD Security Equipment Installer Licence

• Manual Driver's Licence

• QLD White Card (General Construction Induction)

• Open ACMA Cabler Registration

• Full Australian Work Rights

• Solid practical understanding of CCTV networks, intruder alarms, and access control hardware

• Strong troubleshooting ability and steady attention to detail

• Clear, professional communication skills with clients and operational staff
