About the Role

Key responsibilities include for Diecutting:

• Completing pre-makereadies to ensure efficient job changeovers and minimise downtime.

• Setting up and operating flatbed die-cutting and embellishment equipment.

• Setting and operating dies, stripping and blanking units to achieve accurate, consistent production.

• Following job tickets, specifications and production instructions to ensure work meets customer and quality requirements.

• Monitoring quality throughout production and making adjustments where required.

• Minimising waste while maintaining production efficiency and output.

• Assisting with scheduled preventative maintenance and keeping equipment in excellent operating condition.

• Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and good manufacturing practices.
  

The ideal applicant will possess the following:

• Trade experience and certification in the print/packaging industry.

• High attention to detail with the ability to think proactively.

• Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels.

• Respect for the safety and wellbeing of oneself and others.
