Human Resources Advisor

Zerella Fresh is one of Australia’s largest grower and packers of Carrots, Onions and Potatoes supplying Australia’s leading supermarket chains plus independents and exports.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated HUMAN RESOURCES ADVISOR to join our team on a full-time permanent basis, supporting operations at our Parilla site in South Australia.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager you will be working collectively as part of a team working across a range of human resource operations.

An attractive salary between $70,000 – $80,000 is available to the right candidate. Benefits may also include accommodation, a relocation allowance and additional travel allowances.

We are seeking candidates to be based at our Parilla site, this position provides an opportunity for visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide effective management of all Pye Group accommodation, including stand-alone family accommodation, shared accommodation facilities and externally leased accommodation.
• Oversee the effective management of the Pye Group Property Tree system.
• Oversee, monitor, and allocate accommodation to ensure availability, allowing for scheduled breaks in occupancy to undertake routine maintenance and renovations.
• Ensure rental agreements are completed for all employees, and employee tenants are compliant with required standards.
• Ensure routine property inspections are completed in line with the Pye Group Accommodation Policy and inspection reports are maintained and shared with tenants.
• Ensure non-compliance issues identified via routine inspections are raised with the tenant and Maintenance team as required.
• Ensure any maintenance requests are forwarded to the Maintenance team or the applicable landlord for follow-up.
• Maintain external rental agreements on behalf of the company, liaising with real estate agents and independent landlords as required.
• Oversee and monitor all utilities associated with Pye Group accommodation, ensuring costs are allocated correctly and communicated to the HR Advisor (Payroll) and finance team.  
• Responsible for the management of a small team of cleaners, ensuring the cleaning schedule across the office and shared accommodation is maintained.
• Responsible for the routine review and update of all Pye Group accommodation policies, procedures, and associated documents.
• Develop and maintain a Pye Group accommodation asset register, to track all assets within Pye Group accommodation (i.e. white goods, beds, mattresses, appliances, ACs).
• Ensure all accommodation meets minimum standards as outlined in the SEDEX Audit requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor level qualification in Human Resources, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• High level administrative management experience.
• Full unrestricted Class C driver’s licence.
• Experience with, and understanding of, applicable human resources and workplace legislation.
