Sunrise Kids Early Learning Centre is looking for a passionate, capable and inspiring Assistant Service Manager / Educational Leader to join our team. This is an opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and supportive Service Manager in a family-owned service that is truly committed to creating positive outcomes for children, families and educators.

You’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day leadership of the service while inspiring quality educational practice across the team.

About the role

As our Assistant Service Manager / Educational Leader, you will work closely with the Service Manager to:

• Support the daily operations and leadership of the service

• Mentor, coach and inspire educators to grow in their practice

• Lead and support the development of high-quality educational programs

• Strengthen curriculum decision-making and reflective practice

• Support compliance with the National Quality Framework and service policies

• Build genuine, respectful relationships with children and families

• Contribute to the service’s Quality Improvement Plan and continuous improvement

• Help create a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture

• Step into leadership responsibilities when required

What we’re looking for

We would love to hear from someone who:

• Holds an approved Diploma or higher Early Childhood qualification

• Has experience working in an early childhood education and care setting

• Has strong knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standard and National Regulations

• Is passionate about mentoring and developing educators

• Communicates confidently and builds strong relationships

• Is organised, proactive and solutions-focused

• Leads with warmth, professionalism and integrity

• Wants to be part of a service where leadership is visible, supportive and genuinely invested in the team
