We are currently seeking Vac Truck Operators / Labourers to join a major Power Station Shutdown project. DIDO Opportunities: Candidates based in Newcastle, Sydney or Wollongong are encouraged to apply. Accommodation provided for eligible DIDO candidates.

The Role 

• Vac Truck operation and general labouring duties 

• Working as part of a shutdown team within a Power Station environment 

• 12-hour day and night shifts 

• Fatigue days included 

• Strong focus on safety, teamwork and following site procedures 

Shutdown Dates 

7 September 2026 – 27 September 2026 

Required Tickets 

• White Card – essential 

• Confined Space – must be current (within the last 2 years) 

• Working at Heights – preferred (within the last 2 years) 

• HR Licence – desirable but not essential 

Higher pay rates are available for candidates holding an HR Licence. 

What We're Looking For 

• Previous Vac Truck, industrial, shutdown or general labouring experience highly regarded 

• Physically fit and comfortable working 12-hour shifts 

• Strong safety awareness 

• Reliable and committed to the full shutdown period 

• Ability to work both day and night shifts as required
