The opportunity
 
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is responsible for all things HR across the ChemCentral Pharmacy Group.
 
You will oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance and HR systems, while partnering with leaders to lift capability and continue building a positive, high performing culture across the Support Office and network of 12 pharmacies.
 
 
What you will do

• Manage end to end recruitment and onboarding across the business
• Coach managers through employee relations, performance conversations and people challenges
• Review HR policies, contracts and processes to ensure best practice
• Work with leaders to improve consistency, capability and performance management
• Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation
• Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, processes and the overall employee experience

 
What ChemCentral is looking for

• Previous experience in a broad HR generalist support role
• Experience partnering with leaders across recruitment, employee relations and performance management
• Knowledge of Australian employment legislation, modern awards and HR best practice
• Experience with UKG (or similar workforce management solution) highly regarded but not essential
• The confidence to coach managers and help lift leadership capability
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A continuous improvement mindset and a genuine desire to build better HR practices
