Full Time Assistant Director - Sydney Olympic Park

As Assistant Centre Director, you will work closely with the Centre Director to support the day-to-day operations of the service while maintaining the highest standards of education and care.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will mentor and support educators, build strong relationships with children and families, and help drive a positive team culture. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre and lead the service in the Centre Director's absence.

• Support the Centre Director with the daily operations of the centre

• Lead, mentor, and support educators to deliver high-quality education and care

• Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community

• Support compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and all relevant legislation

• Assist with staffing, rostering, and centre administration

• Lead the centre confidently in the absence of the Centre Director

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)

• Previous leadership experience within an Early Childhood Education setting

• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications

• Current Child Protection training/certificate

• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF), and National Quality Standards (NQS)

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• A genuine passion for mentoring educators and delivering high-quality education and care
