Workshop Administrator & Coordinator

RAM Equipment supplies and hires earthmoving equipment to the civil, mining, railway and construction industries across Australia. We're looking for an organised and proactive Workshop Administrator/Coordinator to support our workshop operations and help keep our fleet running efficiently.

About the Role

Working closely with our Fleet Service, Compliance and Operations Managers, you'll be the key link between our workshop, field service team, customers and suppliers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing workshop administration, job tracking, invoicing and receipting

• Assisting with servicing schedules and coordinating field service logistics

• Supporting parts ordering and purchase requisitions

• Maintaining accurate stock and inventory records

• Providing professional customer service and reception support

• Processing supplier invoices and purchase orders

• Maintaining accurate customer and job records through consistent, reliable CRM entries

• Participating in workplace health and safety activities, including identifying and reporting hazards

About You

You are highly organised, detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you'll have:

• 2+ years' administration experience, ideally in a workshop, service, transport or construction environment

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• A collaborative approach and genuine interest in helping the team succeed

• A mindset of continuous improvement — always looking for better ways of doing things

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
