Internal Salesperson

Southern Steel QLD is looking for an Internal Salesperson to join our Wacol team.

We're looking for someone with initiative, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. If you're a confident communicator, a quick learner and ready to take ownership, we'll provide the training to help you succeed.

• Respond to customer enquiries and manage account customers

• Prepare quotes and process orders

• Follow up customers, quotes and orders

• Build strong customer relationships

• Work with our internal teams to meet customer requirements

• You'll be someone who:

• Communicates confidently and builds rapport easily

• Takes initiative and can work autonomously

• Is a quick learner with a proactive, go-getter attitude

• Is organised with strong attention to detail

• Is comfortable learning technical products and information

• Takes ownership and follows things through

Any experience in customer service, sales, manufacturing, engineering, construction or trades would be an advantage.

Experience reading or interpreting CAD, engineering, fabrication or technical drawings would also be highly regarded, as would knowledge of steel or steel processing.
