Advisor - Health and Safety

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety professional to join our team in a dynamic operational environment. This role requires an individual who can effectively engage with operational leaders and site managers while driving meaningful safety improvements and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating incident investigations, conducting audits, and working collaboratively with operational teams to identify and mitigate risks. You will play a crucial role in building safety capability across the organization while maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external contracting partners.

What you will need to succeed

• Certificate or degree in a recognised workplace or occupational Health and Safety discipline
• Qualifications in incident investigation and/or auditing such as ICAM, Learning Teams or Lead Auditor
• Minimum three years’ experience in regulatory, heavy industry or infrastructure and construction environments
• Demonstrated experience facilitating incident learning and auditing against legislative and organisational requirements
• Operational experience working with leaders, frontline teams and contractors to reduce risk and build capability
