About the role

Sapio currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Security Technician to join our Newcastle Electronic Security Team, supporting our New South Wales Office

This role will see you delivering high-quality service and installation works, ensuring all systems are installed, commissioned and maintained to the highest standard and in line with contractual obligations.

You will work across a diverse portfolio of clients, supporting electronic security solutions including access control, CCTV, alarms and integrated platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Staging, installation, commissioning, programming and troubleshooting across electronic security systems

• Working across service and installation works in a range of environments

• Supporting integrated electronic security solutions end-to-end

• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislation and licence requirements

• Deliver high-quality workmanship and a strong customer experience on-site

Skills & experience

• Experience in the service and maintenance of electronic security systems (access control, CCTV, alarms)

• Demonstrated experience installing, commissioning, programming, servicing and fault-finding Gallagher Security Management Systems is essential.

• Strong technical knowledge of electronic security systems and components

• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capability

• Good communication skills and ability to engage with clients on-site

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

The successful candidate will also have

• Service and Maintenance experience within the electronic security sector

• A current NSW Security Licence

• Cabling licence

• Valid driver's licence

• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Commitment to safety and compliance
