Sales Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with product selection and provide excellent customer service
• Use previous sales experience to achieve store sales goals
• Assist customers with furniture and bedding purchases
• Help with moving products, including light lifting
• Assist customers with delivery-related requirements when needed
• Support basic merchandising and visual presentation of the showroom
• Help with furniture assembly and setting up displays
• Maintain a clean, organised and presentable showroom
• Assist with stock handling and general store duties
• Be a flexible all-rounder and support the team wherever required

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous retail or sales experience preferred
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable with light physical work and lifting
• Basic understanding of merchandising and product presentation
• Practical and hands-on, with the ability to assist with furniture assembly
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
• Friendly, positive attitude and professional appearance
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexible availability, including weekends where required
