About the role:

We are actively seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our team.

Responsible for the delivery of client-centred care, our PCA’s engage in rewarding mobile personal care across our expanding client base. With a focus on improved client outcomes, the role will collaborate closely with the wider Clinical team and will be involved in delivering individual care plans. The role will provide supportive, respectful and quality personal care that aligns with the Aged Care standards of practice.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide home based care and support services including personal care, domestic assistance medication prompting and other activities of daily living.
• Implement the individual care plan developed by our Nursing team
• Adhere to and support best practice in infection control, waste management and universal precautions
• Assisting clients with mobility, physical therapies and exercise.
• Monitor the wellbeing of clients and report on their progress.
• Work in collaboration with Clinical team to implement creative solutions that meet client wants and needs
• Contribute to a positive workplace culture through respectful and supportive communication

About you

Essential

This role requires:

• Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent.
• Commitment to provide high quality, wellness focused care.
• The ability to work autonomously & in a team environment.

Desirable

• Experience working in aged care or community support work
• Familiarity with in-home care

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• NSW Working with Children Check
• NSW Driver’s License
• Insured Motor Vehicle
• First Aid and CPR Certificate
• A Smart Phone
