About the Role:
As an experienced Conveyor Belt Technician / Splicer and a leading team member on site, you will offer a broad skillset with the ability to splice, repair, maintain and install a range of rubber conveyors. You will be able to work well in a small team environment whilst ensuring to uphold our high customer service standards. Wages are negotiable depending on experience. Overtime & weekend work is essential, travel will be required dependent on job.
Key Responsibilities:
Take a proactive and enthusiastic approach to deliver conveyor belting/rubber lining services to our valued clients.
Deliver quality work in timely manner.
Provide maintenance, belt repairs in house and on site, belt installation, technical advice, cutting and preparing conveyor belts for site installation, rubber lining and high-level problem solving.
Execute and deliver all work safely and to a high professional standard
Liaise with colleagues, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
To be successful:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Have a strong work ethic with a desire to work in a team environment
Strong focus on safety and site safety rules
A valid HRW LF & SL Licence
Basic Rigging and Dogging Tickets
Be available for afterhours callouts – paid at the appropriate penalty rates.
