Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Account Manager / Client Service professional to manage day-to-day relationships and build strong partnerships with Coles Supermarkets, specifically overseeing the production of Coles Own Brand Packaging. Acting as the primary client contact, you will coordinate internal creative, artwork, prepress, and technology teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client & Account Leadership: Manage day-to-day relationships with Coles, serving as the primary contact for project briefs, status updates, and issue resolution while identifying opportunities to grow accounts.• Process & SLA Management: Establish a comprehensive understanding of Coles design, photography, artwork, and repro production processes, ensuring compliant management of all internal SLAs.• Meeting & Panel Representation: Attend WIP, Pre-artwork, and Design Panel Meetings, delivering clear updates on artwork across pre-production and production stages.• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate across internal design, creative, artwork, prepress, and technology teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.• Team & Operations Leadership: Lead day-to-day project management delivery to maintain exceptional service, manage project timelines, track budgets, and support the implementation of brand management software solutions.• Reporting & Optimization: Prepare regular reports regarding the health of customer accounts and actively contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience: Proven track record in Account Management, Key Account Management, or Project Management within packaging, print, FMCG, marketing, or related industries.• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of packaging, artwork, prepress, and print processes, as well as brand or marketing workflows.• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with software tools, digital platforms, and Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel), with the ability to learn and support brand management systems.• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including clear documentation, presentation capabilities, and a listener-first, people-oriented approach.• Project Execution: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, track budgets, manage timelines, and meet critical retail deadlines with high attention to detail.• Soft Skills: Self-driven with strong negotiation, problem-solving, networking, and stakeholder relationship-building skills.• Education: Relevant qualification in business, marketing, communications, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience.
