Housekeeping Super Star Wanted

Dooleys Tavern & Motel is seeking a Housekeeping Super Star to join our team in Springsure, QLD.

This is a casual position and you will be joining as a key member of our housekeeping team. You, and your team, are responsible for ensuring our guests enjoy a spotless, comfortable and welcoming environment during their stay. This postion comes with consistent casual shifts, averaging 35 to 38 hours per week.

What you'll be doing

• Cleaning and tidying guest rooms, Tavern and external area to the highest standards

• Restocking guest rooms with fresh towels, toiletries and amenities

• Inspecting rooms for damages or maintenance issues and reporting these to management

• Maintaining common areas

• Working efficiently to meet daily room turnover targets

• Following all health, safety and hygiene protocols

• Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues when needed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar cleaning role, preferably in the hospitality industry

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

• Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift items weighing up to 10kg

• Team player

• Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently to meet targets

• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to adjust to casual work patterns

• Good communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude towards guests and team members

• Knowledge of health and safety standards and cleaning best practices

• Ability to work independently and take initiative
