TEAM Electrical Services is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our established management team and take ownership of the delivery of commercial electrical projects across Perth.

Established in 2003, TEAM Electrical has built a strong reputation delivering commercial electrical projects throughout the Perth metropolitan area.

We are looking for someone who understands electrical construction, enjoys working with clients and site teams, and wants the autonomy to manage their projects from handover through to completion.

This isn't a position where you'll simply be managing paperwork from behind a desk. You'll be involved in the commercial, technical and operational delivery of your projects, with the backing of an experienced management team, supervisors, estimating, administration and HSEQ support.

What you'll be doing

You will take responsibility for the successful delivery of your allocated projects, including:

• Managing projects from tender handover through construction, commissioning and completion

• Working closely with builders, clients, consultants and project stakeholders

• Managing project budgets, forecasts and overall commercial performance

• Managing variations, progress claims and project costs

• Planning labour requirements and working closely with Site Supervisors and Foremen

• Managing procurement, materials and subcontractor requirements

• Developing and maintaining project programmes and key milestones

• Reviewing technical and contractual requirements and identifying project risks early

• Supporting and developing site teams

• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to TEAM's expected standard

• Maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to repeat business

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone with a strong electrical construction background who is comfortable taking responsibility for their own projects.

Ideally, you will have:

• Strong experience within the commercial electrical construction industry

• Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager

• Electrical trade background and/or WA Electrical Licence highly regarded, but not essential

• Experience delivering medium to large commercial electrical projects

• Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, procurement and variations

• Good planning and programming skills

• Strong commercial and contractual awareness

• Confidence dealing directly with builders, clients, consultants and subcontractors

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to get the best out of project teams

• Good computer and reporting skills

• Current WA Driver's Licence

A formal Project Management qualification would be beneficial, however practical electrical construction experience and a proven ability to successfully deliver projects is more important to us.
