Role Description The SiteMinder Consultant will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining SiteMinder solutions to support secure access management for client environments. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing business and security requirements, designing SiteMinder policies and rules, integrating SiteMinder with existing applications and directories, and troubleshooting authentication and authorization issues. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployments, perform system testing, document configurations, and provide knowledge transfer and training to client stakeholders. This is a contract role based on-site in Perth, WA, requiring close coordination with client teams and adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong experience with SiteMinder implementation, configuration, and administration, including policy design and access control management.Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) concepts, authentication protocols (e.g., SSO, SAML), and integration with directories such as LDAP or Active Directory.Skills in troubleshooting application and infrastructure issues, analyzing logs, and performing root cause analysis in complex environments.Ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate business needs into secure technical solutions.Experience in on-site consulting or client-facing roles, with strong time management, documentation, and communication skills.Familiarity with enterprise security practices, compliance standards, and risk management in IT environments.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Prior experience with similar access management or security tools (e.g., CA/Broadcom solutions, other IAM platforms) is an advantage.
