About the role
We have an opportunity for a Surveillance Systems Technical Officer to be part of our State Technical Investigation Branch , Forensic Evidence and Technical Services team. The Surveillance Systems Technology Officer is responsible for the technical research, development, implementation, maintenance and support of surveillance devices, systems, and infrastructure. The role directly supports technical surveillance operatives and other operational police in conducting authorised technical surveillance operations and providing other technical capabilities in support of NSWPF investigations. The role provides the opportunity to work with an array of hardware, infrastructure and software.
The successful candidate must be willing to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) National Security Clearance within 12 months from commencement in the role.
