Casual Medical Receptionist - General Practice

Saltwater Medical is a leading, highly regarded female doctor-owned & operated General Practice serving the community of Caloundra & surrounds.

We are committed to providing patients with the highest quality medical care and our reception staff are an essential part of our team.

We are seeking an experienced and highly flexible Casual Medical Receptionist to support our operations and be the next ‘Salty Legend’ in our fun-loving team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Greet patients on arrival

• Answer phone & email enquiries

• Schedule appointments 

• Processing payments

• Document management & data entry

• General administrative & house-keeping duties

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times

 Hours

• Weekly hours & shift start/finish times will vary to fill gaps in our roster & provide leave cover

• On average approx. 10 hrs per week (about 2 half days + adhoc leave cover)

• On call availability and flexibility is required

• Availability Monday - Friday is essential

About you

• Previous medical reception experience essential

• Flexible, reliable & dedicated

• Friendly, professional & caring manner 

• Strong attention to detail & ability to multi-task

• Excellent communication skills & ability to work well within a team 

• Proficient computer skills (experience with Best Practice would be advantageous)
