About the Roles

We are seeking passionate hospitality professionals to join our Food & Beverage team across two exciting opportunities:

Restaurant Host (Breakfast)

Be the first point of contact for our breakfast guests, delivering warm welcomes, managing reservations and seating arrangements, and creating memorable experiences through genuine and personalised service.

Food & Beverage Attendant (Various Outlets)

Support service delivery across our luxury dining venues, providing attentive and professional food and beverage service while ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional Capella experience.

The Role

Deliver personalised, intuitive and engaging service that exceeds guest expectations and creates memorable dining experiences.

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience.

• Manage reservations, waitlists, guest preferences and seating arrangements for breakfast operations.

• Build genuine guest connections by anticipating needs and recognising returning guests whenever possible.

• Maintain extensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings, dietary requirements, hotel facilities and current promotions.

• Present menus confidently, answer guest enquiries and make appropriate recommendations to enhance the guest experience.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver service in a professional and timely manner.

• Work collaboratively with culinary and service teams to ensure smooth daily operations across the outlets.

• Handle guest feedback and service recovery situations with professionalism, empathy and confidence.

• Maintain exceptional presentation standards of dining areas, service stations and reception spaces.

• Assist with opening and closing procedures, setup and preparation for daily operations.

• Uphold Forbes Travel Guide standards and Capella service philosophy in every guest interaction.

Talent Profile

• Previous experience in a restaurant, luxury hotel, premium hospitality venue or similar environment.

• Experience as a Restaurant Host, Food & Beverage Attendant, Waitperson or Guest Service professional is highly regarded.

• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and engaging personality.

• Professional presentation and strong attention to detail.

• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong teamwork skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

• Availability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays.

• Excellent spoken and written English.

• Valid Australian working rights.
