Seeking Disability Support Workers in Bowral

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred care for a female participant living with Disability. This role is based in a welcoming family home and offers a mix of weekday and weekend shifts, including active sleepovers.

About The Role

You will be supporting a participant who resides with his family in a family home. The participant has chosen to remain living in her own home and requires.

Service Days & Hours

Weekdays

Day shiftsShort day shiftsEvening shiftsSaturdaySunday

Flexible rostering available depending on availability.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with personal care and daily living tasksProviding self-assistance supportManual handling and mobility assistanceSupporting community access and social participationDelivering consistent and respectful care with a mental health–informed approachWorking collaboratively with family members within the home

Essential Requirements

Previous experience supporting clients with Brain Injury or similar complex needs (highly regarded)Mental health experienceAbility to perform manual handling safelyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, patient, and reliable approach to careFemale applicants only (genuine occupational requirement)Certificate in Aged Care or Disability is highly preferred
