About The Role
Join a team helping shape the future resilience of our electricity network.
As a Resilience Engineer, you will support the development and delivery of initiatives that strengthen Endeavour Energy’s ability to anticipate, withstand, recover from and learn from disruptive network events. Working across a broad range of stakeholders, you will contribute to climate adaptation, risk assessment, network resilience planning and investment initiatives that support reliable electricity supply for our customers.
This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical and forward-thinking engineer who enjoys combining technical expertise, data-driven decision making and strategic thinking to address complex challenges facing the energy sector.
What you'll be doing
Support the development and implementation of resilience strategies and plans that improve network and customer resilience during major disruption events.Assess the potential impacts of large-scale climate and hazard events on the electricity network.Contribute to climate, hazard and scenario modelling activities to identify resilience risks and inform planning and investment decisions.Analyse and interpret complex data sets using tools such as FME, SQL, Power BI or Python to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Support the integration of resilience investment priorities into asset management and network planning practices.Investigate emerging technologies and opportunities that could enhance network resilience.Develop business cases, technical reports and investment recommendations to support resilience initiatives.Coordinate technical inputs and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to support project delivery and implementation activities.
What you'll bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.Experience in a professional engineering role within the electricity, energy, utilities or a related infrastructure sector.Experience in resilience, risk management, climate adaptation, asset management, network planning or a similar technical discipline.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify trends, assess risks and develop practical solutions.Experience preparing business cases, technical reports and investment recommendations.Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple business areas.Experience using data analytics and query tools such as FME, SQL, Power BI, Python or similar platforms.Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance technical, operational and business requirements.Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders.
