The Opportunity: 

We are looking for an experienced full time Passive Fire Technician.

About you

• Min 2 years’ experience in Passive Fire Installation and related activities. 
• Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of firestopping procedures and suppliers’ systems, including batt, mastic, fire seals and flexible cavity barriers.
• Trade qualified: Carpentry/Gyprocking preferred.
• Using carpentry tools (manual and battery).
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and plans.
• Fire damper installation and repairs.
• Providing accurate daily working information electronically or otherwise, relating to operational activities, in accordance with any regulatory and company requirements and procedures 
• Ensuring all works are carried in line with Company Procedures and Policies (Health and Safety, Control of Hazardous Materials), in line with WHS regulations.
• Ability to report and clearly communicate with the Supervisor.
• Ability to work unsupervised and carry out tasks as per the relevant Australian Standards.
• Must be physically fit and follow a high standard work ethic.
• Must have a current Driver’s License.
