About the Role

As Senior Accountant, you will be a key member of the finance function, working closely with shared services teams and business stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting, maintain compliance and provide valuable financial insights.

• Leading month-end close activities including journals, accruals, intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Supporting monthly forecasting, budgeting and financial planning processes
• Maintaining financial reporting data and assisting with group reporting requirements
• Managing fixed asset reporting and capital expenditure tracking
• Preparing weekly cashflow forecasts and supporting cash management activities
• Delivering financial analysis and management reporting to support decision-making
• Preparing BAS, IAS and FBT returns and assisting with compliance requirements
• Partnering with operational and corporate stakeholders across the business
• Supporting internal and external audits and ensuring adherence to financial controls
• Driving process improvements and supporting finance transformation initiatives
• Assisting with ad hoc reporting, projects and business support activities

About You

• CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified
• Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting and finance
• Strong experience managing month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Proven budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis capability
• Experience preparing statutory and indirect tax reporting requirements
• Previous exposure to multinational businesses or shared service environments will be highly regarded
• Experience using SAP or a large ERP system
• Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
