Casual Learning Support teacher

Coolum Beach Christian College is seeking an experienced and passionate Learning Enrichment Teacher to join our team on a casual basis. We have a short term need and the potential for ongoing casual work. 

The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience supporting students with diverse learning needs and a strong understanding of inclusive educational practices. They will be skilled in developing, implementing, and reviewing Student Support Plans, and possess sound knowledge of disability adjustments and the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD). 

The key focus for this applicant will be to write and manage Student Support Plans and related documentation.  

Key attributes include: 

• Proven experience in Learning Enrichment or Inclusive Education. 

• Strong knowledge of disability legislation, adjustments, and NCCD requirements. 

• Experience writing and managing Student Support Plans and related documentation.

• Excellent technology skills, including confidence using digital tools to support learning and record-keeping. 

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students with additional needs, their families, teachers, and external professionals. 

• Commitment to supporting student wellbeing, engagement, and academic growth.
