Finance Manager (Part-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee and manage key financial aspects of our business. This part-time position (25-30 hours per week) offers flexibility and the opportunity to work independently in a dynamic, growing company. You will be responsible for all financial reporting aspects of the business (in Australia, with some overseas requirements), including data analysis, general management reporting and cashflow management, as well as overseeing a small team which manages accounts, debt collection and the invoice payment process for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Completion of end-of-month sales and profit & loss reporting, presenting to the business owner and operations manager

• Data analytics and general management reporting on projects, sales initiatives and other general business analysis

• Cashflow forecasting, including oversight of debtor collections and follow-up

• Oversight of local tax and compliance requirements, working with third-party service providers

• Oversight and management of tax and compliance obligations in Dubai, working with local tax agents appointed for the business

• Oversee the RHI accounts email, managing communications related to refunds, queries, invoice tracking and other account-related matters

• Manage cashflow related to payment transfers and invoice payments

• Oversee the debt collection process, ensuring timely payments from customers according to contract terms

• Work with the accounting team to manage and support payment processing requirements for invoices

• Support ongoing technology and systems improvements

About you

• Strong experience using accounting software (Xero preferred) and Excel for analysis and reporting

• Self-directed, highly motivated and reliable

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Experience with monthly financial reporting and reconciliations

• Ability to work independently while collaborating with key managers

• Accounting qualification or equivalent experience

• CPA or CA qualified (desirable)

• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills (desirable)
