About the role
Evergreen Contractors' is seeking a skilled Tractor operator to join our team in Metroplitan Melbourne. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in the dynamic and rewarding vegetation management company.
What you'll be doing
Safely operate and maintain various tractor attachments
Perform routine checks and maintenance on tractors and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
Collaborate with the wider vegetation teams with opportunities to work in the arboricultural teams when required.
Monitor and report any issues or areas requiring attention
Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations to protect yourself, your team, and the environment
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Tractor operator
Ability to safely operate and maintain a variety of tractor attachments and equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work
Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Relevant qualifications or certifications in machinery operation would be advantageous
Construction induction card - White Card
MR/HR license
RIW card would be advantageous
Depot is the Bayswater area.
