OUR STORY

The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC represents traditional landowners, native title holders and other Aboriginal people in the southern half of the Northern Territory—an area of almost 780,000 square kilometres. 

The CLC provides its constituents with advice, advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land and realise and protect their rights.

THE ROLE

• HR019 - Work Health and Safety Project Officer
• Full-time, Fixed-Term 12-Month Contract. 

KEY FUNCTIONS

Under the direction of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator, the WHS Project Officer supports the functions of the WHS Management System and assists with ensuring the CLC employees and stakeholders are operating within a safe, WHS compliant environment. 

REMUNERATION & REMARKABLE BENEFITS

Base Salary Range: Starting from $90,386 p.a. (negotiable classification banding based on skills and experience, subject to CLC EA guidelines and authorised approval).
