About the Role

As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and play a vital role in delivering an outstanding customer experience. Working closely with our sales, production, and transport teams, you will ensure customer orders are accurately processed, enquiries are handled professionally, and customer needs are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

?Responding to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a professional and timely manner.

?Processing customer orders accurately through telephone, email, and online ordering systems.

?Coordinating with production and transport teams to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivered on time.

?Maintaining accurate customer records, pricing information, and account details.

?Handling customer complaints, concerns, and product issues with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring prompt resolution.

?Processing invoices, credit requests, and other administrative documentation.

?Assisting with data entry, reporting, and general office administration tasks.

?Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

?Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

Essential Skills & Experience

?Previous experience in customer service, customer support, sales administration, order processing, or a similar role.

?Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly approach.

?Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

?High attention to detail and accuracy when entering orders and processing documentation.

?Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment.

?Strong problem solving skills and the confidence to handle customer concerns professionally.

?Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

?Experience using ERP, CRM, or order management systems.

Highly Desirable

?Experience within the food service, wholesale, FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, or meat processing industries.

?Knowledge of inventory, distribution, or supply chain processes.

?Experience working in a high volume customer service environment.
