INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT – REGIONAL NSW - WELL-ESTABLISHED ACCOUNTING FIRM – 75K-95K+SUPER (JOB ID 1537)

Our client is a well-established accounting, taxation and financial planning firm based in Lismore. Known for its holistic approach to client service, supporting individuals, families and small businesses across their entire financial journey, from business setup through to growth, succession and retirement.  

They are seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their close-knit team. This is a newly created role suited to someone looking to build a long-term career in a firm that values relationships, quality advice, and genuine client outcomes. 

The Role: 

• Providing advice on taxation, accounting and business matters  

• Preparing financial statements using cloud-based and industry-specific software  

• Preparing tax returns and activity statements for a range of entity types  

• Liaising with the ATO and other government bodies  

• Supporting clients with business structuring, compliance, and ongoing advisory needs  

About You: 

• A degree in Accounting or related discipline  

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in public practice / business services  

• CA or CPA qualification (or working towards)  

• Strong experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online, and MS Office  

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail  

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively  

• A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a genuine interest in long-term career progression
