About the role

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an Analyst – Financial Performance. The core function of this role is to support the Operations Group – Mid West Region business performance through the delivery of a comprehensive range of financial and accounting services, including identification of business improvement opportunities in the Region.

What you can expect with this role

• Provide a comprehensive range of financial & accounting services within the Operations Group – Mid West Region, incorporating all budgeting, forecasting, business performance reviews, analysis and reporting.
• Preparation and analysis of monthly financial management reports and Business Performance Reports.
• Provide consultancy on finance and accounting issues as required.
• Undertake analysis, monitoring and reporting on financial performance for the Region, as required.
• Identify strategies for improvement in business performance.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by line manager.
• This role is based at John Tonkin Water Centre in Leederville and will require travel to the Mid West Region each month.

Your skills and experience

• Degree level qualifications in accounting or finance or approved equivalent.
• Sound experience in providing financial and management accounting service in a large multi-functional organisation.
• Considerable experience with computerised financial systems i.e. SAP & ABP.
• Relevant experience in budgeting and financial management.
• Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office software packages.
• Experience in using SAP FICO and other relevant modules.
