Production Worker - Garden Sheds

About the role

This position is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and production quality of our roll-forming line for garden sheds ensuring stock and customer orders of Garden and Tool Sheds are assembled within given timeframes.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble garden and tool sheds within given time frames

• Internal ordering of Garden and Tool Shed componentry, fixings, fittings and consumables

• Prepare "C" section frames for sheds cut sheets to size using guillotine and attach cladding to frames and assemble together

• Assemble and fit PA doors

• Prepare openings for and fitting of windows

• Forklift duties

About you

• Basic understanding of warehousing

• Ability to set up, operate and program roll-forming machines, including loading of steel coils

• Ability to operate overhead crane

• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with both supervisory staff and other production employees

• Ability to work autonomously to set standards and timeframes for work completion

• Use of initiative, self-motivated and able to work individually or collaboratively in a team with minimal instructions

• Good communication skills

• High-Risk Forklift Licence (desirable)

• Drivers licence (standard car licence - desirable)
