Trade Assistant

We have exciting opportunities available for motivated Trade Assistants to join our team on both rostered and adhoc assignments. Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will gain valuable experience on a range of heavy mining equipment while building a long-term career in the mining industry. Opportunity to develop into a trade-based apprenticeship for the right candidates

The position would suit a candidate who has experience working with Diggers & Drills.

About the role:

The successful applicant, will have:

• Experience working in a mining environment 
• Coal Board Medical 
• Experience working with Diggers and Drills
• Standard 11 Statement of Attainment 
• Current HR Drivers Licence (Desirable) 
• Working at Heights (Desirable)
• Confined Spaces (Desirable)                                   
• Gas Test Atmospheres (Desirable)                                   
• EWP (Desirable)                                   

• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Have the proven ability to liaise with both management and clients
• Uncompromising attitude to safety
• Ability to meet site requirements
